Evoqua's BioMag® and CoMag® systems infuse magnetite into conventional biological and chemical floc, making it heavier and dramatically improving settling. The BioMag system is applied to activated sludge systems providing up to 300 percent more treatment capacity in existing tanks and smaller treatment volumes, by delivering faster and more reliable clarification than alternative systems.
The CoMag system settles floc up to 30 x faster than conventional treatments, enabling plants to increase capacity and clarifier performance. It can reduce total phosphorus down to 0.05 mg/L, and can achieve UV transmittance greater than 75% when integrated into any type of coagulation/flocculation process or clarif...

Ostara’s Pearl® system from Evoqua is a fluidized bed reactor designed to recover phosphorus from municipal and industrial waste streams through the controlled precipitation of crystalline struvite. The system precipitates struvite (magnesium ammonium phosphate) , allowing nutrients to crystallize into eco-friendly fertilizer granules which are harvested, dried and then distributed by Ostara as Crystal Green® Fertilizer. This cost-effective nutrient recovery solution converts wastewater treatment plants into true resource recovery facilities.
The OMNIFLO® SBR MAX with Jet Tech technology is a true-batch SBR process designed to handle greater peak flows or storm water overflow (CSO) events while providing superior effluent quality at a lower cost.
OMNIPAC® SBR Field-Erected Treatment Systems with Jet Tech technology are a cost-effective, proven advanced wastewater system utilizing a DAVCO™ pre-engineered and factory built steel circular tank design. OMNIPAC® field-erected SBR package plants are the perfect solution for a variety of municipal and industrial wastewater processing applications.

Evoqua’s Forty-X™ Disc Filter Armor series combines outside-in and inside-out filtration technologies within one filtration unit. Influent water flows through an integrated pre-screen (outside-in) to the disc filter panels (inside-out). This innovative combination of two filtration technologies into one unit provides an effective and robust option for those difficult applications.
Evoqua, through its DAVCO product line, manufactures and installs DAVCO steel field-erected biological treatment plants for the reduction of biochemical oxygen demand, total suspended solids, total nitrogen and phosphorus removal. The DAVCO product line is supported by experienced project teams that have been working with municipalities, developers and engineers for more than 50 years to deliver turnkey treatment projects in as fast as six months. The single-source approach integrates expertise and equipment with design, steel fabrication, field installation/construction and commissioning services.
Evoqua’s GoFlo™ CFBR system with Jet Tech technology is an efficient, simple to operate biological wastewater treatment process ideally suited for treating flows with less stringent effluent requirements from 25,000 gallons per day (GPD) to tens of millions of GPD, with storm flows up to five times the design flow. The retrofit of existing tanks is available.
The Orbal® system is a well-established true simultaneous nitrification denitrification technology. The process achieves nutrient and BOD treatment limits using less power in a smaller footprint when compared to more conventional alternatives. It can be applied in both new plants and retrofits, and it can easily resolve high peak and storm flow challenges.
Evoqua’s ETS-UV™ closed vessel ultraviolet systems are effective, highly efficient, easy to maintain and offer a flexible design that accommodates retrofits or new construction. Systems are validated for drinking water per USEPA UVDGM & NSF/ANSI Standard 61 and for reuse by NWRI and Title 22 guidelines.
Hydro-Clear® pulsed-bed sand filtration systems are an excellent solution when gravity filtration is needed. Featuring unique underdrain systems and a shallow bed of mono-media fine-grained sand which permits the filter media to be "pulsed" periodically as solids build up. Click here to learn more!
The state-of-the-art ADI® AnMBR combines anaerobic digestion with physical separation membranes, resulting in maximum organic load removal and biogas production.
Evoqua’s Dystor® system helps wastewater treatment plant operators to automatically maximize biogas storage volumes and manage sludge levels with full odor containment within their anaerobic digestion operations. With over 80 years of experience in Anaerobic Digestion technologies and more than 125 installations, Evoqua’s Dystor system can hold up to six times as much gas as conventional steel digester covers, maximizing the energy benefits of the process and providing significant cost savings.
The ADI-BVF® is an anaerobic digestion system that offers very stable, robust wastewater treatment and biogas generation under a wide range of operating conditions.
With increasing requirements for enhanced nutrient removal, many wastewater plants are adding anoxic and/or anaerobic tanks in their secondary treatment systems requiring surface or submersible mixers. Each has its own features to consider. More »
In municipal or industrial wastewater treatment applications, steel constructed tanks up to 5.0 million gallons per day (MGD) and below offer significant advantages over concrete; benefits that lead to lower operating and lifetime costs, regardless of application More »
Bowling Green Municipal Utilities (BGMU) provides commercial water and wastewater treatment and electrical power services to a population of more than 60,000 in the community of Bowling Green, KY. Built in 1963 and expanded in 1974 and 1993, the plant was approaching its capacity limit and would not be able to meet the city’s future wastewater needs. The existing treatment process also could not meet the seasonal limits for ammonia nitrogen that the renewed permit would require. With that in mind, BGMU began to look at treatment designs that would handle population growth and provide flexibility into the foreseeable future. More »
About an hour south of Atlanta, the city of Barnesville, Georgia is a town of shady, tree-lined streets, a fondness for celebrating its history, and a sharp eye on the future. In 2013, as its 30-year-old wastewater treatment plant was reaching the end of its useful life, Barnesville found itself planning for a future of growth, progress, and a new, state-mandated <0.6 mg/L total phosphorus (TP) wastewater discharge limit.
