The Bal-last Interlocking System™ was invented by a former sewer superintendent who managed and constructed gravity and pressure sewer systems for several years. This experience led to a focused career working in sales, service and training of pressure sewer providers and installers. While training installers on the best methods to install pressure sewer systems, a constant question arose over and over. How to ballast the tank properly and quickly?

This product was developed for greater ease of installation, improved safety, and the standardization of best practices to improve customer satisfaction resulting in lower callbacks and warranty claims.

The Bal-Last™ design based on the OEM required ballast specifications, of weight and dimensions utilizing an HDPE molded block system that fits the outer tank walls of the HDPE grinder pumps. Four blocks, filled with high strength concrete, interlock to provide an immediate structural bond to the tank as a full ballast ring. Assembly usually takes less than 10 minutes.
