The Total Hardness + Alkalinity configuration of the TitriLyzer® runs a sequence of two distinct titrimetric techniques: one acid-base titration by a combined electrode for alkalinity, one colorimetric titration to determine hardness, in a single titration vessel. The combined measurement of the two parameters centralized in one single analyzer is a convenient solution for operators and eliminates additional space and purchase of a second analyzer.
The TONI® On-line Total Nitrogen Analyzer meets the needs for fast and reliable monitoring of the regulatory sum parameter Total Nitrogen in all sorts of water bodies. The water analyzer runs a chemical analysis based on standard method 4500-N with hydrazine reduction and NEDD color solution after persulphate destruction, yet in a completely automated analyzer mainframe. The industrial panel PC controls all steps of the analysis procedure, including sampling, sample transfer, addition of reagents and reporting of the results.
The unique character of the TOPHO® On-line Total Phosphorus Analyzer allows operators of industrial and municipal water works to monitor and control in a convenient way the total portion of phosphorous. The analyzer shares similar wet-chemical oxidation techniques that are used for the TONI® On-line Total Nitrogen Analyzer. It runs a chemical analysis based on standard method 4500-P with ascorbic acid reduction and molybdate color solution after persulphate destruction. The industrial panel PC controls all steps of the analysis procedure, including sampling, sample transfer, addition of reagents and reporting of the results.
The newly developed NIPHO® On-line Total Nitrogen+Phosphorus Analyzer facilitates rapid, convenient analysis of regulatory sum parameters in effluent, river water and ground water. The water analyzer runs two different analysis cycles for the simultaneous measurement of TN and TP. Proprietary sample oxidation techniques convert all N and P species into NO3 and PO4, yet completely automated and without risks imposed on operators. The industrial panel PC controls all steps of the analysis procedure, including sampling, sample transfer, addition of reagents and data exchange.
EZ-ATP® monitors total bacterial and pathogen load in water by measuring portions of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) of any type of bacterial microorganism present in the water sample. The analyzer can be used as an Early Warning System in various applications with focus on water safety, when high ATP values indicate a potential risk in surpassing a threshold value of microorganisms.
Contrary to commonly available manual or semi-automated methods, EZ-ATP® quantifies different ATP portions, providing operators data on extracellular ATP or free ATP, total ATP and intracellular ATP. EZ-ATP® complies with standard method ASTM D4012–81.
The coliLyzer® is a fully automatic on-line analyzer that can be used as an early warning system for detection and measurement of coliform organisms in water. The analysis method of the coliLyzer® is based on the use of specific reagents acting as substrates for two distinct reactions specific to total coliforms and E. coli.
As with all of AppliTek’s water analyzers, the coliLyzer® offers convenient and simplified operation requiring no specialist skills in microbiology or analytical chemistry. Operators can focus on action plans if necessary and protect their water source from immediate threat of waterborne pathogens.
AnaSense® is an on-line analyzer system designed specifically for monitoring anaerobic digesters, bringing the possibility of implementing new control alternatives to typical operating problems in anaerobic processes in mid to large scale digesters.
The primary process parameter measured by AnaSense® is total volatile fatty acids (VFA). VFA levels directly represent the metabolic condition of the anaerobic digester and respond quickly to stress induced changes. Other critical process parameters are: bicarbonate, alkalinity (partial and total) and optionally ammonia.
The AppliTOC® Series of On-line TOC Analyzers have been field-tested for many years in a wide range of applications and environments to determine organic compounds in water matrices.
The standard Total Organic Carbon configuration of the AppliTOC® is a measure of the non purgeable organic carbon (NPOC), while the volatile carbon (VOC) and the purgeable carbon (POC) are stripped out and lost for analysis. AppliTOC® uses an adapted version of the standard TOC method in accordance with standard methods USEPA 415.2, ISO 8245 and DIN-EN 1484.
The AppliCOD® Series of On-line COD Analyzers are built on probably the most advanced and versatile analytical mainframe available for measuring COD values in water, bringing new levels of automation, reliability and performance.
The standard configuration of the AppliCOD® runs a 2-hour wet-chemical oxidation by potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7). In addition, the analytical mainframe is available in a number of measuring ranges and individual requirements, as well as accelerated sample oxidation.
The Ra-TOX® is able to detect and measure wastewater streams that present an acute or chronic toxicity to the biomass of a treatment plant. This allows operators to take corrective measures to protect the viability of the waste water treatment plant, e.g. by storing the toxic water in a buffer tank. With a response time of 15 minutes, toxic compounds present in the wastewater can be detected in an early stage by the Ra-TOX®. The on-line analyzer thus functions as an early warning system and, indirectly, as a continuous assessment of a healthy respiration rate of the biomass.
