Sophie is a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience at Schneider Electric, where she's thrived in the domains of automation, control, and IoT. Her achievements include leadership roles in industrial automation and energy management. In recent years, Sophie spearheaded Schneider Electric's Digital Plant and Digital Power Lines, promoting innovation through EcoStruxure solutions. She's played a pivotal role in Schneider Electric's global operations across continents, from Africa to the US. Sophie holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.B.A., and she's a fervent advocate for diversity, equality, and inclusion in STEM fields. Currently, as Segment President for Water & Environment, she drives digital transformation in the water industry to meet sustainability goals.

Global Segment Leader of Power, Utilities, and Infrastructure, AVEVA

Gary Wong is the Global Segment Leader of Power, Utilities, and Infrastructure at AVEVA, a leader in real-time, industrial, performance intelligence. He leads their global power, water, smart cities, facilities, and transportation businesses and has 25 years of extensive international experience providing sustainable, strategic and cost-effective digital solutions. Prior to joining AVEVA, he has held positions with OSIsoft, Metro Vancouver and as a consultant directing both public and private sectors on operations, digital transformation, planning, sustainability, and engineering. Mr. Wong is also the Chairman Emeritus of the Smart Water Networks Forum Americas Alliance and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, is registered as a Professional Engineer in Computer Engineering, holds an M.B.A. from the Queen’s School of Business and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant.
