As part of an overall improvement project for the City of Wausau, WI’s Wastewater Treatment Plant, the project team developed a solution to produce Class A biosolids and address handling and disposal challenges. During the webinar, the presenters will provide an overview of the project’s objectives, the developed solution based on Veolia’s BioCon™ thermal drying technology, the implementation of the project, and progress to date.

Jon Orr is the Product Manager for the Biosolids & Bioenergy team at Veolia Water Technologies / Kruger business unit, based in Cary, NC. He holds a BS degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University, and an MBA from the University of Houston. He has 15 years of work experience in wastewater residuals and sludge treatment technologies, and over 25 years in project & operations management, product & technology development.
Aric Bergstrom has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota and has been a process and controls engineer at Donohue & Associates for 16 years. He is currently working on his seventh biosolids drying project.
