Stephen Pattenden

Global Practice Manager, Smart Wastewater Networks, Xylem

Stephen is Global Practice Manager for Smart Wastewater Networks at Xylem. Prior to joining Xylem, Stephen headed Performance, Risk and Optimization operations for Thames Water in London and Southern England. In this role he oversaw planned maintenance, asset insight and investment into the company’s large wastewater network and pumping operation. Stephen holds an MSc in water management from Cranfield University and is a chartered water and environment manager (C.WEM) and environmentalist (C.Env).


Michele Samuels
Michele Samuels

Global Practice Manager, Asset Performance, Xylem

Michele is Global Practice Manager for Asset Performance at Xylem.  Prior to joining Xylem, Michele held various roles within the water industry ranging from Utility Management through Consulting at organizations including Stantec, The Regional Municipality of York, and AECOM, where she was the Asset Management Practice Lead for Eastern Canada. Michele is a certified Asset Management Professional (IAM), a Professional Engineer (PEO), and holds master’s degrees in both engineering and business from the University of Toronto and Warwick Business School respectively.
