PEWE Pilot Test Systems

PEWE offers complete pilot testing of water and wastewater streams for the purpose of proofing for treatability. The pilot test systems are skid mounted for easy transportation, come with an experienced operator for set-up, trialing and return shipment. The pilots are a fully scaled version of their larger “brothers”, are constructed in stainless steel and PVC for corrosion resistance, utilizes Rogue regenerative turbine aeration technology and is operated with the PEWE Command Control systems.

The unique technology built into each PEWE DAF system maximizes TSS removal while minimizing chemistry usage and sludge production. Pilot testing provides management with the valuable data needed for making key design and return on investment decisions.

DeWater DBP Press Test System

PEWE offers complete dewater testing of solids generated from wastewater and other process streams. The test filter press system is skid mounted for easy transportation and setup.     PEWE SuperSkreen® SSE
    Externally fed screen units are used for the removal of large insoluble material from an aqueous solution. Screens are used on process and waste water streams for particles that need to be removed to protect downstream systems. The screen can also be used for: product recovery; fat removal; sludge thickening; and mixed settle-able solids for both municipal and industrial applications.

    The SuperSkreen SSE series maximize solids removal in an easy to maintain unit. The screen is a barrier by which material larger than the gap or slot size may not pass, allowing the water to continue through.

    PEWE SuperSkreen® SSC
    The PEWE SuperSkreen® SSC In-Channel Screen consists of an auger spiral assembly with integral brush, transport tube, drainage section, press section and mechanical drive system. The SSC will be supplied with a perforated screen basket, solids discharge and a press zone drainage fitting. The SSC is designed to extract moisture from wet solids. The unit will utilize a screw to transport and compress the solids and allow the filtered liquid to drain.

    PEWE Repeatable Accuracy
    The PEWE PolyAccu Dose System® is designed for efficient liquid chemical make down for water and wastewater treatment. The key to solution generation is the application of the correct mixing energy and time in the proper amount of water, every time. By getting these three factors right with features such as the Active Blend Blade® flash mixer, the PolyAccu Dose System® assures reliable chemical dosing.

    It is through consistent results chemical use is kept to the effective minimum. Built with sturdy stainless steel and polypropylene the system will withstand years of use in harsh working environments. Completing the unit is the PEWE Positive Prime Feed System®. This unique design provides positive liquid feed to the dosing pump while keeping the drawn emulsion mixed and in suspension.

    PEWE DeWater® TRU Systems
    The TRU is designed to extract moisture from wet solids. The unit will utilize a screw to transport and compress the solids and allow the liquid to drain off. The PEWE DeWater® TRU Truck Receiving Unit consists of an auger screw assembly, screen basket, transport tube, drainage section, press section, discharge section, tank housing and mechanical drive system. The TRU will be supplied with a flanged inlet, solids discharge and a drainage fitting.

    PEWE DAF Innovative Quality
    The Dueler® DAF is available in two vessel configurations; TM model with AISI 304 stainless steel or PE model in polypropylene. Both systems are constructed with welded 304SS/PVC chassis and piping sub-systems. The TM series is an open style DAF with a cone bottom and vortex stilling well for removal of settle-able solids. The PE series is a Tru Counter-Flo® plate pack unit with a self-draining flat bottom.

    Efficient MBBR Media
    The ASO® Bio-Carrier is an efficient media for moving bed biofilm reactor MBBR aerobic or anoxic applications. The plastic surface is especially designed to provide a suitable home for biological colonies of bacteria and protozoa to grow and flourish. The technology provides for a cylindrical self-sloughing flow through carrier. The MBBR method of treatment requires no sludge recycling or backwashing and is a single pass system.

    The ASO® Bio-Carrier is made of virgin high density polyethylene material and comes standard with a UV white finish. The outer hub ring has added thickness for superior crush resistance and strength. Interior striations provide additional surface area for the maximum biofilm capacity. And unlike square media, the cylinder shape readily peel from each other and are not prone to stacking.
