  • Filter Presses

    The J-Press filter press is well suited to dewater sludges generated by small to large drinking water treatment plants. It produces high dry solids filter cakes with 1-3 hour cycle times for alum and lime softening sludges. Smaller presses are used to dewater sludge from the co-precipitation of arsenic. The use of a press equipped with membrane plates will improve the cake dryness over other dewatering methods.

  • High Rate Magnetite Ballasted Biological Treatment

    Evoqua's BioMag and CoMag systems infuse magnetite into conventional biological and chemical floc, making it heavier and dramatically improving settling. The BioMag system is applied to activated sludge systems providing up to 300 percent more treatment capacity in existing tanks and smaller treatment volumes, by delivering faster and more reliable clarification than alternative systems. 

    The CoMag system settles floc up to 30 x faster than conventional treatments, enabling plants to increase capacity and clarifier performance. It can reduce total phosphorus down to 0.05 mg/L, and can achieve UV transmittance greater than 75% when integrated into any type of coagulation/flocculation process or clarifier.
