Rubber check valves are a cost-effective way to control back pressures from sewage treatment plants, outfalls, and tidal operations. All Proco check valves are manufactured completely of barnacle resistant rubber with a top-quality fungicide.
The ProFlex™ check valves are designed to be a “zero maintenance” valve. The simple design allows effluent to force the two opposing rubber lips apart permitting flow, yet quickly closing to prevent the return of tailings or slurries. The ProFlex™ valves provide full port flow while ready for the chance of backflow.
In addition to a dynamic product range, Proco aims to accommodate as many industry standards as possible. One of these certifications is the NSF/ANSI 61 Standard certification on its Rubber EPDM Expansion Joints and ProFlex™ Rubber Check Valve product line. Manufacturers of water treatment and distribution products in North America must comply with NSF/ANSI 61 to minimize potentially adverse effects caused from contaminants leaking into drinking water. This certification verifies that these check valves can safely be used in drinking water systems, thus showing Proco’s commitment to producing products that meet safety and health standards.
Coarse bubble diffusers aerate or mix wastewater for effluent / sewage treatment and pollution control. A coarse bubble diffuser produces bubbles which rise from the floor of a wastewater treatment plant or sewage treatment tank. They are used in grit chambers, equalization basins, primary and secondary settling ponds, and areas where sediment settling is a concern. Coarse bubble diffusers typically produce 1/4 to 1/2 inch (6.4 to 13 mm) bubbles.
The ProFlex™ Style 730M is the most recent addition to the ProFlex™ line of rubber check valves. The Style 730M is a molded rubber light weight check valve. This type of check valve is available ranging in sizes from 3/4” to 6” pipe diameter and can be directly mounted to the OD of schedule 40 pipe. Best for odor control.
The ProFlex™ Style 790 Low Headloss In-Line Rubber Check Valve design allows for a passive flow and allows the valve to be installed without having to do any modifications to existing structures or costly pre-install planning. The unique fold away design of the inner sleeve also allows for a near full port flow, allowing for quick drainage.
The ProFlex™ Style 790 Low Headloss In-line Rubber Check Valve is the valve of choice for municipalities, airport runaway runoffs, railway washouts, highway flood damage prevention and odor control. The 790’s unique design provides rapid dispersion of head pressures and with its low cracking pressure, it prevents upstream flooding.
The Proco ProFlex™ Style 710 flanged duckbill check valve is designed to bolt directly to both existing flanges, as well as new installations. The flanges are drilled 150# standard, however other drilling standards are available upon request. The ProFlex™ Style 710 can be installed in either a vertical or horizontal application.
The Proco ProFlex™ Style 740 slip-on in-line rubber duckbill check valves are designed to slip directly into an existing pipe, and are supplied with an expandable clamp to secure it in place.
The Proco ProFlex™ 720 in-line flanged rubber duckbill check valve is designed to fit directly inside of an existing pipe. This particular valve is supplied with a flat face rubber flange, which allows installation between existing pipe flanges, and eliminates the need for a valve body. Various drilling standards are available upon request.
The Proco ProFlex™ Style 730 rubber duckbill check valves are designed to easily slip over an existing pipe and be attached with heavy-duty stainless steel clamps. It can be installed in both vertical and horizontal applications.
The Proco ProFlex™ Style 750 jacketed flanged rubber check valves are designed with a full metal enclosure, for easy installation within existing piping systems.
he Proco Pen-Seal is designed to provide a gas and water-tight seal. All sizes have been tested to withstand a hydrostatic seal up to 20 psig or 40 feet of head pressure, in addition to withstanding temperatures up to 250 °F.
The Pen-Seal’s standard elastomer material is EPDM, but a Nitrile material is available if the seal may come in contact with hydrocarbons, oil, gas, jet fuel, or miscellaneous solvents.
The Pen-Seal utilizes glass-reinforced plastic, and all hardware is manufactured from steel zinc dichromate. For corrosion resistance, 316 stainless steel hardware is available.
Proco Series 230 expansion joints are built to withstand even the most rigorous piping system configurations. They are specifically constructed to reduce or eliminate common occurrences such as noise and vibration, misalignment/offset, or turbulence. Series 230 expansion joints are appropriate for a wide variety of industrial applications, and are available in open arch and filled arch configurations. Available in single, double or triple arch.
