Steve is a registered professional engineer in the state of Utah and has been involved in water and wastewater industry his whole career. He cut his teeth mowing lawns at the local wastewater plant, where he cooled off in the mist coming from the trickling filters. He graduated from the University of Utah in Civil & Environmental Engineering. He has worked as a consultant and as a regional manager for manufacturers of water and wastewater treatment. He currently resides just north of Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife and five kids. For fun, he enjoys boating, electronics and technology, all racquet sports, and hiking up the mountain right behind his house – if only to just escape from the mayhem created by said five kids.
